About.

Strom Arkitektur is a young practice dedicated to place-making.

Based in central Oslo, we create buildings, spaces, master-plans, and infrastructure with a skew to provide the greatest positive social impact. Our motivation is to design projects that form a dialogue with their surroundings and we work with local knowledge and competence to find solutions that are affordable and buildable. Our approach is driven by human experience. Together with the qualities and challenges of a site forms the basis for our work; to create an architectural identity and spatial experience that enriches the urban landscape.

Diversity feeds creativity and working with others is a committed part of our process. It provides the opportunity to challenge perspectives, interrogate ideas and learn new techniques.

Since 2015, we have conducted workshops and collaborations in Norway, Denmark, France and Chile. This cross-cultural cooperation represents a chance to combine our knowledge and our understanding of architectural values. Consequently, we have established a reliable and talented network of collaborators, which gives us flexibility to scale our capacity to project requirements.

Anders studied at the University of Queensland, Polytechnic University of Milan and the Aarhus School of Architecture. He graduated with a master degree in Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape.

Anders has acquired a wealth of experience across a range of scales and typologies, from bespoke cabins and single-family homes to complex housing, educational institutions, sports facilities, cultural buildings and urban planning projects.
